The purpose of Dohop Connect is to make your journey secure and comfortable, and protect you in case of travel disruptions.
Basically, if your flight is rescheduled, cancelled or delayed, and as a result you are unable to make your onward connection, we will book you on an alternative flight, at no additional cost to you, up to a maximum compensation of €1,500. If we can't find an alternative flight, we will refund the unused part of your booking.
However, if your actions or inaction causes you to miss your connecting flight, or in the case of a force majeure event (volcanic eruptions, adverse weather, etc.) you are not covered by Dohop Connect. Additionally, if you make changes to your itinerary after you've made your initial booking with us, and you fail to inform us of those changes, your Dohop Connect is no longer valid.
In addition to the flight tickets you are purchasing, we also charge you a small amount for the Dohop Connect guarantee. This means that we will always do our best to help you get to your final destination in case of flight disruptions. The Dohop Connect fee is non-refundable.

If a substitute flight is only available the day after, then as per your Dohop Connect purchase you have the right to a hotel room at a cost of up to €60 per night per passenger. Dohop Connect covers up to two hotel nights per passenger. If the passengers has to wait for substitute flight at the airport they will get a refund for a meal of their choosing, maximum of €15 per passenger.

The Dohop Connect Guarantee fee is non-refundable under any circumstances.
Yes you can, but you have to do that directly through the website(s) of the airline(s) in question or through their customer service.
Date changes are only permitted according to the airline and fare rules of the tickets in question. In order to determine if this is possible and if there is any additional cost involved, please contact the airlines directly.
Same as in the case of date changes and additional luggage, you will need to make direct contact with the airlines in question. If anything is unclear, you can start by calling us and we'll point you in the right direction.
Please make sure to check in online for all flights on your itinerary before the departure of your first flight. If you forget, we will do our best to help you over the phone. Please be aware that if you need to check in at the airport you may be charged an additional fee by the airlines.
We do not provide any visa information. Due to the nature of the self-transfer itineraries that we provide, you will in most cases need to proceed through passport control and customs, and thus go landside to make your transit. For some airports you may find that airside transit is available without a visa.
If you'd like to change your itinerary, please contact the airlines in question directly. Please keep in mind that if you make any changes but fail to let us know, your Dohop Connect will be void.
Should you be informed of an airline schedule change, please make sure to call or email Dohop Customer Service. We'll do our best to help you find an alternative flight or secure a refund for your original booking should that be possible.
